So what does that mean? Well it is all about a mapping data revolution! Simply put, mapping data is expensive, because it is mostly owned by three major companies, and they charge A LOT for api access to this data. Enter Hivemapper. Hivemapper rewards drivers for obtaining the data through their customized hardware camera and uploading it to them via your phone.

How to Earn!

Hivemapper requires a custom camera made specifically for Hivemapper. The camera is ordered from Hivemapper directly and they ship it to your home. Once the camera arrives, you will need a mount for your car. Once mounted, you may need a DC to USB converter if you ran out of DC outlets in your car. Then, if it is daylight out, just drive. The camera will do the rest! At the end of the drive you open up the Hivemapper app and load the pictures from the camera on to your phone. The Hivemapper app will need to be connected to a specific crypto wallet called Phantom Wallet. This is how Hivemapper will know where to send your rewards. All pictures from the previous week need to be uploaded off of your phone by Tuesday of the next week. Any non uploaded pictures by Tuesday will be considered out of date and discarded. Payouts arrive on Thursdays. Depending where you live, there are additional bonuses for mapping previously unmapped streets. Once the crypto (Honey) has arrived in your wallet, it is yours to do with as you wish.
